Frame 2: Danslab Symposium: platform for the artist
After the first year of its existence, Danslab evaluated the conclusions of the researches. Out of that information as the basis for the symposium 'research on choreographic research' has formed. The choreographers have the interest to share their questions and experiences with other choreographers / artists and create an open dialogue on the practice of choreographic research with collegues from the dance world as well as other disciplines. What are similarities, differences, tendensies and problems we all have to deal with during research? Can we learn and inspire each other?
This symposium aims to be a platform for exchange and dialogue and directs its attention at experienced freelance choreographers. The program will be a combination of brainstorm sessions and dialogue, as well as speakers from the dance world, the field of practice based experiment and other disciplines. The results of and questions posed during a weekend will be the basis for the follow up session.
